Round 3 - Zimius

The Zimius family is definitely the neighborhoods smallest one, and possibly also the unluckiest. Last round, they went through the whole round without a single belly bump and then the husband, Septimius, got called to the Colosseum.
Row 1: Valeriana Zimius (Head of the family, sitting)
Septimius did survive his fight at the Colosseum, but one of the Patrician families took him for their own to start his training as a gladiator. He'll still be able to meet his wife and have children with her, but they won't be living together.

Finally! Almost immediately after we start, Valeriana gets her very first bump. They had a lot of trouble getting pregnant, but at least children seems to be possible.
There's not much at all going on in the apartment, as she's all by herself all days long. The next thing worth documenting is the second baby bump.
Being a slave means that a few physics points can save your life. It even turns out Valeriana finds getting them great fun.
And then it's time! Outdoors in her purple pajamas, Valeriana starts giving birth.
Now guess if I was surprised when a little girl with these colors came to the world! Completely unexpected, but recessive genes are always welcomed. Valeriana gives her baby girl the name Aquila.
The new parents don't waste any time trying for a second child, but remembering how hard it was to conceive Aquila, they don't expect any miracles.
Septimius only sees his daughter when visiting, but he tries to be with her anyway.
The days still goes by quickly and soon Aquila is a toddler. Doesn't she look amazing?!
Being the only adult in the household, Valeriana decides to start making some money through illegal activities, like many other slaves do.
Valeriana and Aquila don't have much to do except spend time with each other, which they happily do.
When the time to visit the Bathing House comes, Septimius goes with Valeriana and they enjoy a relaxing day together.
While there, Valeriana also meets her sister-in-law, Nona, who's married to Septimius twin brother and in a situation similar to her own. Nona's husband is living at the Callandile's, where he's working at the farm, and Nona is on her own taking care of their twin babies. The girls enjoy speaking to someone who understands their situation.
