The Jax family has developed into free (but poor) people of Rome. The head of the family is Lekan Jax, an outgoing fortune sim.
This is his wife Nthanda Jax, one of the many generation 2 Nixeira-children. She is quite a bit younger than her husband and an active and outgoing knowledge sim.
Their oldest living son is Aelianus Jax. The family used to have an older son, who unfortunately died in a flood.
The second son, Tiberius Jax. Like always, I'm not telling much about the kids as children but instead when they become teenagers.
They have one daughter, named Herminia. She isn't the youngest one though, they also have a baby boy named Felix, who I didn't bother taking a picture of (since all the babies look the same anyway).
The Jax kids are a playful bunch, always seeming to have a good time with each other.
This family doesn't live in one of the apartments, but have a small house with a garden, which is how they make their money. Not surprising to see the parents working and the children playing in the garden.
Two of the children have their birthdays and the family invites some people to celebrate. Aelianus meets Caelina, and they have one thing in common just by looking at them - he is the only one in the neighborhood with red hair, while she is the only one who's blonde. Lekan and Nthanda are considering marrying them just to help their son's red color staying in the family, even though she is a slave girl.
Little Felix becoms a toddler.
And the oldest, Aelianus becomes a teenager on the same night.
Here we have both of them afterwards. Aelianus has grown into an outgoing fortune sim.
Aelianus has a little accident at the party and doesn't feel too good about it, haha.
They never got to keep a newspaper, because different members of the Emperor's family came and stole them every day... Here is Varius, the heir, but his sister Saturnina did it too. I know they are a grouchy bunch but come on!
It was soon time for Lekan to become our next elder.
Here he is! For some reason he nearly lost all his hair in the aging. I decided to keep it that way, because why not.
Nthanda almost had a miscarriage at her husbands birthday party, but luckily it was only a close call.
The family takes turns caring for the garden. Today it's Aelianus turn, since he's stopped going to school.
Seems like there is not much more going on than birthdays and the next one is another double birthday. First up, second son Tiberius, who becomes a teenager just like his big brother.
And the other one is little Felix, again. This time he becomes a child.
Here's Tiberius, hanging out with Aelianus. Just like his brother, he's outgoing, but his aspiration is romance.
Felix, who looks a lot like his mother, and therefore his brothers too. Herminia is the only one who looks like their father.
I know it doesn't show, but maybe you can tell from the way Nthanda walks that the family's new sibling is expected very soon.
The family visit the Bathing Houses, where they run into Albanus, one of the Emperor's sons.
And this happens... It seems like the Callani's really don't like the Jax's and I honestly don't know why.
Aelianus meets one of their slave cousins, Quintus, and they share a bath before the round ends.
