Round 8 - Zima

The Zima couple, with six living children has reached old age together. Two of their girls has already left their home, their oldest to marry and their youngest to live as a gladiator.

Row 2: Secundus Zima (second son, sitting), Octavia Zima (second daughter, sitting), Livius Zima (third son, sitting)

Octavia is betrothed to Lucanus Zimius, their neighbour and cousin. Unfortunately, they decided to have a fight this round, and she killed him. That's one way to end a betrothal...

Little Livius becomes a teenager.

Here he is, a young version of his father. Livius is a fortune sim.

At least the children in this family get along great with each other, if not other kids...

Cassian has been attracted to Iuliana since they were teenagers and she had a bastard with his older brother. Now it seems they wanted to act on it... Better late than never?

Tatianus met his brother Septimius at the Baths.

And then he had a nice bath and conversation about the weather with his wife. Maybe there's a reason why Iuliana suddenly wanted some new action in her life, lol.

The teenagers love having pillow fights. It beats noogies, I must say.

Round 7 - Zima

Last round, the Zima's had to send their youngest daughter Glaucia to fight in the Colosseum. Luckily she won, but now she's off to live with the gladiators instead. Their oldest daughter Vibiana is also away, working at the Callandile farm.

As I mentioned, Livius' twin sister Glaucia left between the rounds.

Earlier this round someone met Secundus at the Baths, and I noticed he was angry about losing a fight. Checking now, I see that it's true - I missed a fight between him and his twin sister.

Unfortunately, that means the boy must die.

But since boys are rarer than girls in this neighborhood, I give his mother a chance to win him back.

And she wins! Secundus stays with us at least a little longer.

Seeing this not long afterwards made me happy that he's still alive.

Meanwhile, his big brother Caelius is gossiping about how Secundus lost a fight against Octavia to impress Aemilia Zimius...

The boys seems to have grown close to each other instead of their twin sisters after Secundus' fight and Glaucia leaving.

Iuliana has her birthday! In her fertile days, she's given birth to a total of seven kids and so far, only one has died. Not bad at all.

This is her now. She somehow looks better as an elder, lol.

Good news! Secundus and Octavia becomes best friends again instead of having more fights.

Just in time for their birthday.

Here's Secundus, a knowledge sim like his brother Caelius.

And Octavia is a romance sim, like her sister Vibiana. Funny how they got the same aspirations.

And now for something sadder... Livius was attacked by the neighbor's boy Lucanus Zimius. His mother decided to watch the fight naked...

Livius wins, which means I have to kill Lucanus when it's their turn. Iuliana finally noticed she's nude, lol. I thought those things only happened in nightmares.

Right before we leave, Tatianus had a birthday to celebrate, too.

And here he is! He lost most of his hair but he seems happy anyway.

Round 6 - Zima

Slave time! First up, the Zima's, as usual. They are nearing the end of their fertile days, but since Iuliana is heavily pregnant they should have time for at least one more child.

The oldest daughter, Vibiana, moved out this round to start working at the Callandile farm.

The twins are super cute!

Already birthing time for Iuliana.

Finally! A boy is born. His name is Livius.

But... but you just had twins?!

Doesn't matter! Two pairs of twins in a row, oh my. Here's little Glaucia, a girl.

Luckily, the older pair has their birthday the same night. Please excuse Secundus for looking that weird.

Here's the boy, looking just like his mother.

And here's the girl, Octavia, recognizable by her hair and eyes.

They play so much it seems like they're going to be easy to care for, keeping each other busy.

When they discovered the neighbor's boy Pompilius, Caelius joined the playing too. Playing all day, no joke.

Which was good, because the babies were killing me. They only started screaming (at the same time, of course) when Tatianus was at work or when everyone was trying to sleep. With no one to help, Iuliana was working hard.

Finally they grew up. Little Livius turned out to look just like his father as a toddler! Complete with the eyebrows and everything.

And, amazingly, Glaucia grew up to be cute, something I didn't expect for one second in this family, lol.

When they started huggling, they were immediately forgiven for being awful babies.

Caelius has his birthday!

Here he is. What a gaze, no? Caelius is a knowledge sim.

At the Baths, Octavia found and played with her plant-sim grandmother.

Caelius enjoyed finally being old enough to use the tubs.

Back home, the younger twins managed to have their birthdays simultaneously! Something I always try and fail. Not that anyone in the family is even watching, haha...

Livius looks so much like Tatianus it's ridiculous.

And his sister Glaucia is still pretty.

So much playing and socializing in so little space...

Right before we leave, Valens managed to seduce yet another married woman. Luckily, Iuliana is too old to get pregnant now and we don't have to worry about any bastards... She already had one when she was young! Marcius, who died, if anyone remembers. (I still miss him, he was cute)
