Generation 3 Adults

Before we step into the Roman Era, I would like to make a small conclusion of the Stone Age and find out how the neighborhood looks at the moment and what this will lead to.
On the picture we have Winter Valley as it stands when our oldest generation 3 - Fulvia Zima - becoms an adult.
According to the rules, the family with the highest funds of the couples with skin 1 or 2 will be the Emperors. I have to modify this rule somewhat, since I only have one couple where both of them have skin 1 or 2. My rule is: The family with the highest funds of the couples where the man has skin 1 or 2 will be the Emperors. This means that it does not matter which skin color the wife has, but to get closer to the original rule I will only count the sons with skin 1 or 2 as heirs and skip the ones with darker.
This means I have 3 different families eligable as Emperors: Seoli, Jax and Callani. The Callani's have 3 different households; I will add these together as one Callani-fund. These are the results:
Seoli: §25054
Jax: §25950
Callani: §46303 + §3407 + §1758 = §51468

Not surprising, the Callani's has the highest funds, and this means our first Emperor will be the oldest male in this family - Zephania Callani. (Which means our first Emperor only has 1 nice point!)
On the picture are Monifa and Zephania Callani, when they first fell in love. Who knew it would come to this!
Like I said, we have 3 Callani-households. I will make the main household, Zephania and his family, the Emperors, and the other two the Patricians (this means we're going to have some cousin-weddings, but during the Roman Era this was completely normal).
The Seoli's and the Jax's are going to be my Plebeians, which means that the huge Zima and Nixeira-families will be the Slaves. Considering how the Slave-population was almost the size of the free population during this age, I am more than happy with the outcome. The Zima's and Nixeira's might not be, but at least they won't live in huts anymore. (Now they will live in cramped one room apartments - yay!)

As we enter the new era, we have quite the population. There will be 9 households, some big, some small. Some will have new last names that I will introduce you to as their turn begins. Our population are:
Babies: 4
Toddlers: 2
Children: 14
Teenagers: 16
Adults: 9
Elders: 4
Total: 49
If we add the ones who lay in the graveyard, I know for sure we have had around 75 sims. Phew! It really hasn't seemed like this many.
Lastly, I would like to tell you that I have downloaded new skins for my sims, and with that and the Roman make-overs, they might look completely different. I will re-introduce you to them all. I have also started using Fraps, which will improve the quality of the pictures a lot.

Round 12 - Nixeira 2

This is the very last household of the very last round of the Stone Age. How exciting is that?! Cassian loves to play in the snow, maybe a little too much... This happened to him not only once, but twice. The second time, no one could warm him up either so he had to lay there for I don't even know how many hours. Good thing no social workers exist in this era...

Temitope's youngest boy Otho became a child. In case anyone forgot, the boys' father Nkosana died last round and their mother now has to raise them by herself. Luckily Rufinus is already a teenager.

He seems to have very poor social skills though... Rufinus and Tatenda Seoli stood poking each other all night long. I don't even know why. Luckily they were different ages so they couldn't fight.







And that was it from this era. Now it's time to find out which family will be the Emperors, and which ones will be the Patricians, Plebeians and lastly Slaves. I have to do make-overs, building and counting so we'll see when the first update comes. But I'm starting right away!

Round 12 - Callani 2

Not much were happening at Chinwe and the boys' place these four days. The youngest one, Manlius, grew up into a child. He still looks just like his mother, except for those grey eyes.

Nthanda Jax came visiting two days, as the good friend she is. She used to come over and help Chinwe with the boys and cleaning when they were all babies and toddlers too, luckily.

On the last day, the middle child Hortensius becomes a teenager. Just like his brother Caecilius (who's the other boy in the picture), he's a popularity sim, and he also happens to be one of the sims with a full nice-meter. I always like those!

Round 12 - Zima 2

As you might remember, Andile Callani moved out from his brother's home to live with Abeni. He arrives in perfect time to see his bride-to-be drop frozen to the ground. She seems to be fine, though.

Some days later, they have their wedding. Unfortunately the guests seem to think it's more important to keep playing with their ball... Anyhow, Abeni Zima becomes Abeni Callani. She was born a Seoli though. Hope no one got confused now, haha.

Next, Fabricia grows up to a knowledge sim with a full nice-meter and I like her a lot at once. She's by far the prettiest of Abeni and Adebayo's kids.

Before the "grew-up-well" symbol even has time to disappear from over her head, her brother welcomes her to the teenage by giving her a noogie. Nice, Vibianus.

And then tragedy strikes. Fabricia is taking a shower when an angry wolf appears. Luckily they have Grimalkin, who comes to the rescue... but gets killed. And that doesn't stop the bad wolf from attacking and killing Fabricia too, in the very same place her father died when she was still in her mother's womb. Damn the luck. I liked her...

Just like the Callani's, this family has an extreme cold, which I think Iuliana is aware of by now. For some reason, no one could warm her up and the poor girl had to lay there for hours.

Abeni freezes for the second time in four days. And yes, that is a little bump! She's expecting Andile's first child. Hopefully this family will have more luck.

Round 12 - Callani

On the first evening of the Callani's, their youngest Marcella became a toddler. Here she is with her oldest brother Varius. As you can see, their nose isn't too flattering... Three of the five kids have it.

Monifa miscarries the child that was her last pregnancy and Marcella will forever be the youngest of her siblings.

Zephania, who is to the day as old as Uduak, did, just like her, grow into an elder.

His wife followed not long after. Monifa only managed to give birth to five kids although they've been trying as much as the Nixeira's (who had nine). This is because of Monifa's numerous miscarriages.

Little Marcella finds a wolf who allows her to cuddle with it. This night and the following day were extremely cold and no one could be outside for more than an hour before becoming blue.

The last event of this round was Marcella becoming a child. She's the only one with green eyes (although it's not an uncommon eyecolor in this neighborhood anymore).

Round 12 - Jax

This little family, consisting of Lekan and Nthanda Jax and their three children, began their round with a double birthday. One of the birthdaychildren was Tiberius, the middle child.

The other one was little Herminia, the only daughter. Isn't she cute?

Nthanda makes the bad decision to go outside in nothing but her underwear and this happens... Can't be good for the baby.

The boys had friends over, Tiburtius Seoli and Luciana Zima, and they seemed to have a great time.

Nthanda gives birth to another boy! This is the fourth one she delivers, since their eldest died some rounds ago. He gets the name Felix. Our little redhead Aelianus seems nervous, but everything went fine.

On the last evening of the round, Herminia became a child, too. She looks a lot like the brother they lost.

Round 12 - Seoli

This happened to be a very picture-starved round, but I hope it's ok. Not much happened, and these rounds are one day less since Fulvia grew up on the fourth day, so the odds of practically nothing happening are greater. Anyway, Chinedu and Tatenda's firstborn, Tiburtius, became a child. His mother and that cute dog in the background.

Next, his little brother Marius became a toddler. Both of the boys look a lot like their father Chinedu.

And lastly, Tatenda gave birth to the family's first daughter, little Agrippina, who will have her first birthday in the Roman Era. Yay!

Round 12 - Nixeira

Although this family has six living children, I still find it small and easy after playing the Zima's. This challenge really changes your standards, lol. As we begin, Ameqran and Akinyi's oldest girl after Claudia's death, Nona, grows up to a teenager. She's an active family sim and looks just like her mother.

The twins also had their birthday and became children. Here's my little blondie (the only one in the neighborhood) Caelina.

And her sister Prisca. I think the only thing they really share is the eyes (both managed to get green!) and the mouth. In the background we have Caelina and Tacitus playing.

Thirdborn son Marianus grows into a toddler. Here he is with Nona.

Akinyi is a twin. Her twin brother had two sets of twins before he died, so why am I surprised when Akinyi also has her second set of twins? Here's Fabiola (in Ameqran's arms) and Aemilius. With these two, Akinyi sets the new record for most born babies with nine! Good job Akinyi. One of them died, though, so there's "only" eight in the household.

The family happiness doesn't last long though, since this mean wolf decides to walk onto the lot...

And kills Ameqran! As you can see, Akinyi and Quintus are devastated. I feel really sorry for him, it was seriously the last night before the Roman Era... And now he won't get to see it.

Round 12 - Zima

Since Andile found love in one of his older brother's widow, he's now moving out to live with her instead. The teens Tatianus, Septimius and Martina say goodbye to their beloved uncle.

The next day, the family's baby Luciana becomes a toddler. Here she is being held by her father Dalitso, and her aunt Akinyi is in the background.

And then, we have the first generation 2 elder! It's Uduak who goes first, and here she is. This means we are very close to the Roman Era! Septimius in the background, by the way.

Like I said, Andile is the world's greatest uncle. Even though he doesn't even live with them anymore, he comes over every day to play with the kids.

The day after his wife, Dalitso becomes an elder too. His kids Fulvia and Tatianus hanging out in the back.

Big family, lots of birthdays, of course. It ended with a triple birthday, one of them being the one that puts and end to this Era. Fulvia Zima, out firstborn generation 3, becomes an adult! Let's pretend we don't see Seneca using the bladder-bucket, haha.

Fourth and youngest son Blandinus became a teenager too. He's a family sim and outgoing.

And lastly our little Luciana grows up into a child. I have to say, although she kind of looks like her brother Tatianus, she's the only one of these eight children that I find somewhat cute.

Round 11 - Nixeira 2

I guess nobody is surprised when I say winter came to this lot aswell. Nkosana was tending his beloved garden when the snow hit.

Literally one minute later, a wolf finds him and attacks him. Since this family doesn't have a wolf of their own no one is there to protect him, and he dies. This is seriously the third family where the father dies during the mother's third pregnancy. I don't even want to know what the odds are. RIP Nkosana...

Of course, Temitope goes and has a mental breakdown behind the house. She's now tied with generation 1 Achieng Callani on most number of breakdowns! Congratulations...

That night, she delivers Nkosana's last son, and names him Otho.

Second born son Cassian grows into a child. Grey eyes and black hair, I like it.

This family also had this little visitor one night. Nice to lighten the mood on the lot. He didn't seem to mind that the snowman wasn't even finished.

Big brother Rufinus gets a first-hand experience of cold.

And then he grows up into a teenager! He's an active and grouchy popularity sim. (And that might be the cutest dog ever in the background)

The whole round ends with Otho becoming a toddler. The next one, round 12, is going to be the last one in this era.
