Time for the slaves to be played. Here's our first family, the Zima's, who's old mother Uduak died this round in the Callarai household, where she was working.
Row 1: Dalitso Zima (father, standing); holding: Marcius Zimayo (bastard of Iuliana), Tatianus Zima (Head of the family, sitting), Iuliana Zima (wife, sitting), Aurelia Zima (third sister, standing)
Row 2: Luciana Zima (fourth daughter, sitting)
Differences from when we last left them is that Martina is no longer living here - she finally moved out to marry someone after her last betrothed (who happens to be Marcius father, hehe) was murdered by his brother.
Now you might be wondering how the heck Dalitso can be alive after being killed at the Colosseum by his son Septimius last round, and let me tell you that I was just as surprised as you might be by this! Turns out I forgot he wished for the power to cheat death as a young man in the Stone Age, and did I get surprised when he got on his knees and pleaded for his own life! He cheated death, the Colosseum, the Emperors and the whole bloody system.
Tatianus feels like the family is in need of money, and decides to start heading downtown during the days to attempt to empty the pockets of the richer population.
Aurelia and Luciana might be poor slave girls, but they act pretty much like normal teenage girls from time to time.
Marcius is apparently so charming he manages to get a pat on his dirty head from one of the richest men in the neighborhood.
Iuliana might not look pregnant, but she sure is. Or was, since she's now giving birth to her and Tatianus first child. Marcius doesn't really count...
And it's a girl! Woho, I need those. Iuliana names her Vibiana, after her dead brother.
It turns out Tatianus is a natural at stealing, and he works his way up very quickly.
While Dalitso seems to be an absolute disaster at it. Well, I guess one criminal in the family is enough.
Marcius has his birthday!
Here's the kid as a child. He's a nice mix of his parents.
Tatianus has the luck to find a genie, who grants him a wish. The man says that his life as a slave is too hard on both his body and soul, and wishes for some peace of mind. The genie grants him his wish and Tatianus has never been so fulfilled in his life.
If you though Septimius would be happy with seeing his father miraculously alive, you were wrong...
He tries to kill the old man again. What a son. Maybe he's trying to restore the balance of nature or something...
Dalitso refuses to go under the ground though, and manages to cheat death a second time.
Little Vibiana grows up into a toddler and it turns out she looks just like her mother.
Happy cuties!
Marcius was also very happy to take the first shower of his life at the Baths.
Tatianus met his unstable sister Martina and made an attempt to cheer her up. She started crying afterwards so I wouldn't say it helped much.
I guess speaking cheerfully about death is the best you can do in these sims situation...
Marcius is always getting lots of attention and is a happy boy even though he'll never meet his father.
Before the round ended, Aurelia met a very handsome man named Aelianus Jax. They became friends almost immediately, and although they are different classes, she couldn't help but to fall for him.
