Round 9 - Nixeira 2

The last household of the round is also a first-timer. It's the lot of Nkosana Nixeira and Temitope Jax, who are having their wedding as they move in.

It doesn't take long before Temitope gives birth to a son, who they call Rufinus.

Unfortunately, having another baby doesn't go too well, and Temitope has a miscarriage.

The whole neighborhoods round ends with little Rufinus growing up to a toddler. I believe he is the one who stinks, lol.

Round 9 - Callani 2

It's time for this little family's first round! Dakarai Callani and his young wife Chinwe Seoli, who is expecting their first child after an eventful teen camp... Also, lets pretend that they don't get married with two guys dressing like Father Christmas watching.

Some days later, it was time for Chinwe to give birth. They had a baby boy, named Caecilius.

And then the mother became an adult. I personally think she's the prettiest girl of generation 2, and of course I hope they get lots of kids looking like her.

The family was really unlucky, not in the sense that someone died (which seems to be happening a lot in the other households...), but with their crops. As a new family, it's their main way of making money, but floods destroyed all of their crops twice... And now they are completely broke. Not much else happened, except Caecilius birthday. As you can see, he looks like his father. Well, well.

Round 9 - Zima 2

At the same hour as I entered the household, Abeni decided it was time to start giving birth to Iuliana and Lucilla's little sibling. Siblings, I mean, since she was "blessed" with twins, again. What are the odds?! I don't even have a mod for this installed. Anyhow, she had a boy, Vibianus, and a girl, Valeriana.

The two days with two babies and two toddlers were kind of nightmarish, but luckily the older pair of twins grew up eventually. In the front we have Iuliana and in the back Lucilla. I can't help but to see a lot of their father Adebayo's twin sister Akinyi in them.

And then, Adebayo got struck by lightning while fixing the shower (let's pretend he was doing something else, heh)...

... And died. Which put Abeni in a two-set-of-twins-and-a-pregnancy-all-alone-situation.

The younger set of twins became toddlers. The bald one is the boy, Vibianus, and the other one the sister Valeriana.

Iuliana and Lucilla likes each other a lot despite Lucilla's aspiration failure and thankfully keeps each other busy.

The little ones were chasing fireflies together and it was too cute not to photograph!

They get a little sister, named Fabricia. Another green-eyed baby this generation.

The last thing to happen is another strike of tragedy, as Lucilla starts fighting with their cousin Martina. The girls mothers (who also are sisters) Abeni and Uduak can barely watch while their daughters try till kill each other.

Unfortunately for this part of the Zima-family, Martina wins.

When the Grim Reaper comes to get Lucilla, both Abeni and Martina are crying, while her aunt Uduak just stands there and smiles. I know she must be happy it's not her kid, but that's just brutal...

Round 9 - Callani

After the death of the first generation members of this family, it wasn't so crowded anymore. It got a little more so after the birth of Zephania and Monifa's third child and second son, Albanus, though.

Their other son, Varius, had his birthday and became a child.

I'll admit that hings were a bit chaotic in this household. They were the first family to run out of food after the long winter, and their pond was no longer frozen so I had them fish, when it started raining heavily which led to a flood. Lightning struck a tree and Imani ran to check it out, but got caught in the streams and disappeared.

Varius was having fun in the waters, when the same thing happened to him and he was nowhere to be found.

Monifa was sick with worry (and starved, too), and miscarried on top of everything.

The only good thing to happen that day was the birthday of little Albanus. I guess those eyes are typical Callani by now. In the background we see Chinedu struggling to get the family some food.

Through some miracle, Monifa was surprised by her sons embrace the next morning. He survived! The family was happy to see him, but when they asked him if he had seen his aunt Imani, the answer was no. It seems like Chinedu has lost his beloved twin sister.

Round 9 - Jax

The Jax's has lost the most family members and after this round I am nothing but sure that this is my unluckiest family. It began with a beautiful early-spring wedding between Lekan Jax and Nthanda Nixeira, who became Nthanda Jax.

Not long afterwards, she gave birth to a son, who they named Sergius.

It seemed to be a calm round because the next thing to happen was a double birthday for Nthanda and her son. Here she is, all grown up.

Sergius turned out to be a real little cutie. Here with his uncle Tafadzwa.

And then, what I thought was "just a little fire" got started by Lekan and turned this calm round into, well, the opposite. Grandpa Tafari ran to the aid and started putting the fire out...

Only to be interrupted by Mr Grimmie himself because his time on this earth was up. None of the others had the brains to take over, so the fire started spreading.

Nthanda started burning, but her brother-in-law Tafadzwa got his head together and started helping her. Unfortunately, Lekan had remembered little Sergius and run away with him. In some mysterious way, the moment he put the boy down on the other side of the lot, he started burning, and when Tafadzwa finished saving Nthanda he had to hurry to save his brother, too.

The tables turned when Lekan got rescued but Tafadzwa started burning instead. The older brother tried to save him...

... But started burning too, again. Meanwhile, little Sergius is panicking in the middle of everything and things are not looking good at all since Nthanda is completely out of energy and useless.

Then, through some mercy of the gods, I thought, it started raining. I couldn't believe my luck.

Poor Dakarai Callani, who was only visiting, had to have a visit from the magical shrink when the danger was gone.

Then, unfortunately, the blessed rain turned into a storm that flooded the lot. Half of their garden was destroyed, but worse, Tafadzwa, who passed out on the lot, drowned in the waters and died. So much for some luck...
After this chaos, the Jax family only has two surviving children from generation two out of the original five, Lekan and Temitope.

Round 9 - Seoli

Poor Masozi is all alone this round too. At least she had spring this time, and could tend for her garden.

Her lover (make that most of the old women in this neighborhood's) Zephania Callani came by for some WooHoo.

She was finally able to fish again. The heir to the lot she's living by herself on walked past and they seemed to pretend it wasn't awkward at all. He's Chinedu Seoli, the son of her ex-husband Masamba and his new wife Achieng. Also happens to be her lover Zephania's little brother. Not complicated at all... If she survives through the next round, they'll even be living together. Now that's going to be awkward.

She had a massive storm and the garden looked very sad for some time. Everything worked out, though.

Masozi got a little too lonely. I can't believe I didn't find these bunnies creepy as a child. Now I almost peed myself when I saw it standing in the corner.

Round 9 - Nixeira

Just like the Zima's, the Nixeira's are a big household with 3 generations in it. This round began with the birth of Ameqran and Akinyi's second child, a daughter named Claudia. She's got green eyes!

Being constantly pregnant isn't easy for Akinyi, who falls asleep standing and manages to get a reaction from all three Nixeira boys. While Ameqran and Nkosana seems worried, Themba just laughs.

They had a little party and it seems Nkosana doesn't care too much about keeping his love for Ade Zima a secret... Hopefully he'll forget her when he marries Temitope Jax later this round. Meanwhile, Akinyi talks pregnancies with her sister-in-law.

The young brother and sister share birthday. Here's Quintus as a child. He looks typically Nixeira, but with darker colors from his mother.

And here's Claudia as a toddler. She's quite the opposite, with her mother's face but Nixeira-coloring. Tatenda and Themba seems to be having a discussion, too, lol.

Last thing this round was the birth of their third child, another girl, called Nona.

Round 9 - Zima

Omg, what a round. With spring in the air, Dalitso decided to replant the garden. How my little simmies have been missing doing their nature-acitivies during this long, long winter.

We had a double birthday where Martina (who I must say did get cuter) became a child.

And her brother Tatianus a toddler. He looks a lot like Fulvia, doesn't he?

It seems they were right about the spring! Now they can finally fish again. Of course, they fished all night long, completely ignoring their needs. Here's Andile (who's actually a Callani).

As a result, Uduak pissed herself, fainted, and had a mental breakdown while her husband Dalitso happily worked in his garden.

In the middle of the breakdown, she got up and started giving birth. Here's Septimius, a boy.

... And here's Seneca. Yeah, she had twins too. I'm not sure why she's holding the second boy like this, maybe she's as shocked as I am. The Zima's sure seem to have twins in their genes.

With spring comes floods, something this generation of children have yet to experience the dangers of. So when little Fulvia decided to go out play in the waters, it wasn't very strange. When her parents went looking for her the next morning, they couldn't find her.

Uduak went to throw up and had a second mental breakdown. Probably because she remembers the little sister she lost to the floods as a child, and because she knows Dalitso lost his father to them as well. Losing their eldest is just too much for her.

Luckily, that night, a very hungry and tired Fulvia finds her way back home. The waters took her far away, but she fought her hardest and managed to survive. Needless to say, her family was very happy to see her again.

Dalitso is contacted by a genie the next night, telling him he has one wish to make, and that one of his children will be blessed with a wish as well when they grow of age. Dalitso is a knowledge sim, and knowing that his wife Uduak and their children would be helpless without him, he wishes for the power to cheat death.

The round was finally ended with four birthdays in one day. Our little survivor Fulvia became a teenager. She seems to have inherited the worst from both her parents, but anyway, she's a neat pleasure sim.

Her brother Tatianus grew into a child, and doesn't seem to have the same long face as his sister.

Lastly, the twins became toddlers. Seneca to the left, and Septimius to the right. Septimius has Ade's green eyes.
