Round 8 - Jaxinius

The Jaxinius family is the last hope of the Jax family, now that the other two branches seem to have left their fertile days behind without any of them having any sons.
Row 1: Verginius Jax (Head of the family, sitting), Horatia Jaxinius (wife, sitting)

Verginius saved Horatia from a life of slavery, and they seem to be very much in love.

They did spend the whole last round without any pregnancy, but now, the first belly bump finally made an appearance!

As the pregnancy goes on without complications, Horatia gets in contact with a genie. She wishes for a longer life - maybe it's a strategic move to get more days of fertility, to save the family name from extinction.

Not much happens in this little household, so it's already time for the birth.

Hooray! It's a boy! Finally - he's the tenth birth in the family this generation and the very first boy. Unless Aurelia Jax magically gets pregnant again and has a boy right before elderhood, this little one is the Jax heir. His name is Alonso.

Just like their Jaxius neighbors, this family also has a burglary.

At the Baths, Verginius found himself bullied by the patrician girl Titiana Callius.

He found some comfort in his wife, though.

Here's the little savior. I'm so, so happy he looks like his father and not his mother, lol.

Round 7 - Jaxinius

The second and last new household of this round is the third branch of the Jax family.
Row 1: Verginius Jax (Head of the family, sitting), Horatia Jaxinius (wife, sitting)

Wedding ceremony first of all. Horatia Zimeca becomes Horatia Jaxinius and leaves her life as a slave behind.

Their neighbor Antonia Seolius must have heard about the death of Andile Callani, her bastard's father...

There was a serious game of kick ball going on. The girls watching it made noises like they were watching a fight and almost gave me a heart attack.

The fresh couple have their first everything with each other.

This is what Horatia looks like as a plebeian.

After the wedding, some relatives stayed to share the couples first dinner.

The next day, Verginius celebrated his birthday.

Here's the cutie as an adult.

He found a genie and wished for peace of mind, which he also received.

And then the couple fell in love!

Horatia had her birthday too and I was a little slow haha, sorry.

The whole round went by without any proof of a pregnancy. It seems like out of three Jax branches, two has trouble producing sons and one has trouble producing any children at all. Too bad...
