Normally I would begin with a family portrait, but not this time, because there is no family to play in this household. The mother Martina, was killed at the Colosseum last round, and earlier the eldest sister Paula moved out to marry, while the younger one had a fight and lost it.
So we don't only say goodbye to Martina, but to Maxima as well and the whole Nixitus branch.
Since Maxima murdered their brother as children, there's no one to pass on the name. Like I said, the oldest sister Paula is still alive, and so is the gladiator father Tacitus. I hope they aren't too devastated.

Round 7 - Nixitus
The Nixitus family has never been a big one, but now only these girls remain. The husband and father is Tacitus Nixeira, a gladiator who recently murdered his own also gladiator brother.
Row 1: Martina Nixitus (Head of the family, sitting), Paula Nixitus (daughter, sitting)
Row 2: Maxima Nixitus (second daughter, sitting)
With their brother dead and gone, it's harmony among the sisters, who are very close.
Their mother, who's known in the neighborhood as being very fragile and somewhat crazy (but still everyone's favourite aunt), has a thing for Cassian Nixsana.
However, her days of youth and (questionable) beauty are about to be gone.
Here she is now. In her fertile days, Martina only brought three children into the world. Her only son died, and now she has nothing but two daughters.
Elderhood didn't bring much wisdom for Martina... She still does things that no other sim does.
Little Maxima (who killed her brother, in case you forgot) has her birthday.
This is teenage Maxima, a romance sim.
The girls aren't much for hanging out with the others, and usually just hands out noogies or play dart by themselves.
Maxima met a handsome young naked man at the Baths.
Martina ran into her husband, who gave her some cuddles and love.
And then she met her sister Fulvia too and they had some quality time. My old little girls...

Round 6 - Nixitus
What a lousy round, I'm really unhappy with this one. Well well, I'm not the boss, although it's my game, haha, strange but true. This is the family of the gladiator Tacitus Nixeira.
Row 1: Martina Nixitus (Head of the family, sitting), Domitianus Nixitus (heir, sitting)
Row 2: Paula Nixitus (daughter, sitting), Maxima Nixitus (second daughter, sitting)
Maxima is a really daddy's girl, always begging for his attention when he visits. So after ignoring the last two kids, he actually gives this one some love. How sweet...
The girls both have their birthdays.
This is Paula as a teenager, a pleasure sim.
And here's Maxima as a child.
The closest this family will ever come to a family dinner.
And then, Domitianus attacks his sister because he's upset about not going to school. None of my slave children are allowed to go there, so why would he? Well, sims don't understand these things, and Domitianus is unhappy...
Unfortunately for him and the Nixitus name (he's the only son and Martina is too old to have more children), his little sister kicks his ass.
When Death comes for him, his mother begs him to let the boy live.
He actually listens and Domitianus gets a second change. Surely I can keep them from fighting again until he's a teenager...
He's still throwing tantrums as soon as he gets a chance.
Domitianus keeps pushing and provoking his sister, although I do my best to keep them from attacking each other again. I don't want to lose a boy, especially not an only son.
The visit at the Baths go fine, both of them are fulfilled children although angry with each other.
Until Maxima has enough of her brother's bullying and attacks him. I noticed the action one millisecond too late...
... and she wins again. There won't be any second pleading, if a sim dies twice then I just have to let them go...
So when they arrive home, Domitianus dies for real. Just a few hours from his birthday.
Bye boy, sorry for failing you. But maybe you shouldn't have been so upset about not going to school, no slave children go there. I wish he could understand, haha, oh well... *cries*

Round 5 - Nixitus
The Nixitus are a rather small family, but with a pregnant mother, it's sure to grow soon. The father is the gladiator Tacitus Nixeira.
Row 1: Martina Nixitus (Head of the family, sitting), Paula Nixitus (daughter, sitting)
Row 2: Domitianus Nixitus (heir, sitting)
These two look like they're going to become great friends when they get the same age, already playing.
In the early morning, Martina goes into labor.
She has a second girl, named Maxima.
Paula is obviously more excited about the baby than her mother is. What is it with my family sims this round?
Father Tacitus (who's really not much of a father) and Martina enjoyed a rare meal together.
And then the little ones both had their birthday. Paula throws an uncertain look at the man that's supposed to be her father but never said a word to her in her life.
Here's Domitianus as a child.
And here's Maxima as a toddler. She looks a lot, if not just, like her siblings.
Like I predicted, the two children get along at once.
At the Baths, they seem to prefer hanging out to running around.
Their mother chooses, not surprisingly, to take a hot, relaxing bath. Despite daily attempts at another pregnancy, it doesn't seem to have been successful. Luckily, Martina has a few days of fertility left in her adult life, for next round.

Round 4 - Nixitus
This is the little Nixitus family, another one where the father is a gladiator, not living in the household with his family.
Row 1: Martina Nixitus (Head of the family, standing); holding: Paula Nixitus (daughter)
Martina is a family sim, so being alone is no problem for her as long as she has her little daughter.
Some hours after the round started, Martina's belly grew. Her funny walk in this picture is supposed to represent that, haha.
It wasn't long until Paula had her birthday, neither.
Here's the little girl, with the typical Nixeria eyes and the lower face of her mother, it seems.
Big big belly!
Martina spends so much time playing and cuddling with her daughter I'm in constant fear of her miscarrying since she doesn't seem to care about her own needs.
But she makes it through the whole pregnancy!
And has a little son, named Domitianus.
Tacitus comes over to work on their third child, and the couple fall in love while attempting. He then leaves without even introducing himself to either of his children...
Of course, Martina is just as in love with this baby as she is with Paula.
The girl has time for her second birthday as well this round.
Here she is! As you can see, all the playing made her a happy toddler even though she didn't learn how to do anything.
Tacitus only had to make one visit before another seed was planted in Martina's belly, and the next day, her belly starts growing again.
At the Baths, Martina isn't too pleased to discover her daughter isn't playing very nicely.
Once back home, little brother Domitianus has his birthday too.
Round ends with showing how the little boy looks. Pretty much just like his sister.
