Round 2 - Callandile

This is the Callandile family. They are Patricians, and have their large farm as income.

Already the first night it was time for a birthday party - and guess if I was pleasantly surprised when I saw these two guests making out! It truly seems like Caecilius has matured, finally.

Whose birthday party was it, you wonder? Well, there was actually two birthdaychildren. The first one is Abeni, who's ready to become an elder after a long and difficult life.

And the second one was baby Sabina, who's having her very first birthday.

And here's her little daughter Sabina. Although there's only two children in this household, Abeni is actually the mother of seven. Only two of her previous children are alive, and those girls live as slaves with the name Zimayo, after Abeni's first husband and their father, who died very early on.

This looks like really bad idea, considering how Saturnina is pregnant and how this game never is going to look dangerous to me...

Little Sabina quickly learns how to walk and sing the nursery rhyme. Through the window get a glimpse of our "happy" slaves, hum...

Look at this little cutie! I'm very pleased she looks mostly like her mother. I know her cheeks look a little strange, but I'm sure it'll look better as she grows up. She's actually betrothed to Varius Callani - our new Emperor. She just has to come of age first...

Our little lady also has time to learn how to talk and use the potty, and she's very close to her mother.

Meanwhile, our slaves work all day every day to make money for their masters.

Temitope ages up into an elder without much notice from the family's side.

When Sabina has her birthday though, they throw a party. Of course. Unfortunately, it seems like I failed to take a picture with the rainbow lights and I have to give you this one instead.

Here we have the pretty girl. I'm not favouritizing her at all, heh...

Meanwhile, her brother Tarquinius discovers that slaves are good for throwing balls at.

Forget anything I said about Caecilius maturing. Although he has started being nice to his wife, he's still a douchebag. Who pokes his old aunt in the chest for no reason?!

Nthanda Jax enters the lot and immediately has a breakdown. Classy, Nthanda.

Seneca becomes an adult on the last night of the round.

The poor guy had several visits from this creature during the round. Don't worry about him though, he's getting married very soon.
