Round 7 - Callandile

Time again for the last lonely rounds of Andile, and the whole Callandile branch since the death of Tarquinius.
Row 1: Fulvia Nixeira (slave, standing), Andile Callani (Head of the family, sitting), Vibiana Zima (slave, standing)

Since Fulvia became a plantsim, the enormous farm has never been better.
Andile spends a lot of time perfecting his skills now in elderhood.
And for when he gets lonely, he's got his dead wife's granddaughter for company. Nope, this one just can't leave the slave girls alone.
He manages to maximize his body skill.
... And get serious with the teenage girl. Real mature...
And then he just dies, next to his own portrait, and I was too preoccupied to notice.
Bye, Andile. I feel bad. Now the whole Callandile branch is gone, this is their last post.
The last days of the season, the slaves spend alone in the big house, keeping it going for the new master who moves in next round.
This is too funny, haha, the flailing of the arms always makes me giggle.
Yep, she walks funny. Andile might be dead, but he's still going to father another bastard.
This cuteness happened too.
At the Baths, they spent their time socializing.
As Vibiana's aunt, it's great that Fulvia shows some support for this little life-changing accident.

Round 6 - Callandile

Yeah, the Callandile family has shrunken into no more than this. Looks sad, doesn't it?
Row 1: Fulvia Nixeira (slave, standing), Andile Callani (Head of the family, sitting), Vibiana Zima (slave, standing)
Andile's last living close family member, his daughter Sabina, moved out to marry the Emperor this round. She's now the Empress! Both Fulvia and Vibiana are new slaves, to replace dead Temitope and pregnant Antonia. Andile, being a good man but still having his honor, decided that he wouldn't let his unborn bastard grow up with him, but he wouldn't let it live as a slave either. So he arranged a marriage between Antonia and a Seoli plebeian, securing a decent life for the child.

The new slaves go straight for their main task - caring for the big Callandile farm. Since Andile has nothing better to do, it seems he takes it upon himself to care for the bushes.
Who would have thought that Andile would end up as such a lonely old man? It's really sad.
Suddenly...
Fulvia becomes my first-ever plantsim! Funny how I went through the Stone Age without a single one, only to get one in the civilized Roman Era...
The farming is hard work for Vibiana, who starts feeling very lonely.
... Let's change that to "goes completely crazy"...
What the heck? It's summer!
Fulvia celebrates her birthday into an elder alone in the bathroom.
Here she is, and she doesn't really look much like an elder.
Both Fulvia and the plants are thriving in symbiosis.
And at the Baths, Andile is the only one who actually bathes - Fulvia was busy gathering sunlight and love elsewhere.

Round 5 - Callandile

The Callandile had a tragic last round, with the murder of two out of four family members. With her mother and brother dead, Sabina couldn't even hold her tears back for this picture.
Row 1: Temitope Nixsana (slave, standing), Andile Callani (Head of the family, sitting), Sabina Callandile (heir, sitting), Antonia Nixeira (slave, standing)

When Tarquinius came home one night injured, the family didn't expect him to drop dead the next morning. They were devastated. After losing his wife not much earlier, Andile was desperate to know who did this to his only son, and to get justice.
Gordianus Callarai reported having witnessed Felix Jax fight Tarquinius the day before his death, and with this knowledge, Andile demaned Felix brought to the Colosseum. He got his wish, and now both Tarquinius and Felix are dead.
The faithful old slave Temitope had a breakdown after the death of her young master.
Sabina was spending the most time crying, but still had to work on her charisma skill to prepare for her marriage to the Emperor.
Andile and Temitope found comfort in each other once again. Unfortuately, no one thought to comfort Antonia, who'd had a crush on Tarquinius. Poor girl.
With the murderous Caecilius dead, having a birthday party is once more safe in this neighborhood. This party is Andile's.
He's the youngest member of the second generation, and therefore the last one to become an elder. But now all of them are! Lots of them already died from old age.
Gordianus is completely under Sabina's spell. They can't marry, since she's betrothed to the Emperor, but I'm sure at least Gordianus wishes they could.
While planting new seeds in the spring weather, Death comes to get Temitope, saying her time is up. She's not quite willing to accept it, but in the end, she has no choice but to leave.
She's been hardworking and faithful all through her service in the Callandile household, and I'm going to miss her.
Poor Antonia is now the only slave to care for an enormous farm. Of course, the snow starts falling again and she gets a taste of the cold...
She's working through the following night as well, and gets a bit lonely.
But then, things look up a bit for her, I suppose, as she gets some attention from her master Andile...
Aaand she's pregnant. Just like her twin sister Drusa. Why can't my Patrician males keep their pants on and not impregnate their young slave girls? Well, I guess generation 5 is twice on its way now.
Lovely Sabina finally maximize her charisma! Now she's all ready for the wedding next round.
The affair continues and gets a bit more serious...
At the Baths, Antonia doesn't try too hard to keep her love for her master hidden, and Balbina Callarai, daughter of Caecilius, show's she might have too much in common with her father...
She even makes Antonia cry. Are we having a new Caecilius in the neighborhood, in the form of his daughter?

Round 4 - Callandile

Here's the Patrician family Callandile, you might remember them as the ones with the big farm.
Row 1: Temitope Nixsana (slave, standing), Andile Callani (Head of the family, sitting), Abeni Callandile (wife, sitting), Antonia Nixeira (slave, standing)
Row 2: Tarquinius Callandile (heir, sitting), Sabina Callandile (daughter, sitting)
The only change from last round is Antonia, who's replacing Seneca after the disaster with his wife and kids.

As we begin, Sabina immediately has her birthday. As you can see from the guests of the party, the amount of boys greatly outnumber the girls in the upper class. (I know I mention it a lot, but here you see it proved!)
Neighborhood douchebag Caecilius makes enemies with Abeni. Saturnina seems to realize this is really bad news.
Here's my sweet Sabina, future Empress, as a teenager. I love this girl! She's turned out to be a romance sim, like her brother Tarquinius, but unlike him, her nice-meter is full. I'm not sure about that combination, but okay.
And it happened. The day I've expected and dreaded comes - Caecilius attacks Abeni. And he doesn't do it in a discrete place either, no, he does it in the middle of the party, and soon nearly everyone gathered around to look as he murdered his old aunt.
Apparently, a party with a murder is still "not bad". Hmm.
As you can see, Abeni will be greatly missed. Unlike Caecilius, she was very much liked by the rest of the neighborhood.
Andile finds it hard to go to bed without his wife. However, with the Emperor witnessing the act, justice is just around the corner. Emperor Varius decided that Caecilius will lose his position as Head of the Callarai family, and if he wants to keep his life, he has to fight for it in the Colosseum in the end of this round.
Bye Abeni! At least she lived a very eventful and long life, with a total of two Eras, two husbands, the birth of seven kids and the death of three of them.
This round, the farm gets covered by snow.
Working in the deep snow is difficult, but Antonia has badges to earn.
Sabina continues her quest to maximize her creativity and charisma before her marriage with the Emperor. Here, she just earned her last creativity point.
Well... That was quick. Andile moves on from one old lady to the next, as he lets his slave Temitope seduce him.
Sabina starts working on the charisma, by practising her romance in front of a mirror.
Meanwhile, her brother practises on a more living subject, by which I mean the slave Antonia.
He even kisses her at the Baths!
The teenagers doesn't even seem to care about hiding their love. Luckily, Andile's full nice-meter makes him very accepting, and he only seems happy for the two. Of course, he trusts they realize that they can't marry.
I wouldn't say he tries hard about being secretive, either.
As the round ends, Tarquinius and Antonia's feelings for each other reach another level. Hopefully it won't lead to any troubles.
