Round 9 - Callarai

While Fabricius waits for his betrothed to come of age, there's not a lot of people in the Callarai household.
Row 1: Otho Nixsana (slave, standing), Egnatius Zimeca (slave, standing)
Row 2: Fabricius Callarai (Head of the family, sitting), Saturnina Callarai (mother, sitting)
Fabricius youngest brother, Severus, just moved out to start his own family.

As usual, Saturnina breaks the ice with a good old nervous breakdown.
Lucky Otho has gotten his hands on a magical lamp, and uses it to wish for beauty.
The household is very calm, with stuff like this going on all day.
Saturnina maximized her music and dancing interest.
Fabricius... Hmm. It seems the wish was successful.
Okay, Saturnina is worse.
The bakery opens, and Egnatius is in charge of the sales.
At the Baths, another drama unfolded, as Faustina, future wife of Fabricius, attacked Severus, his little brother...
And she won. That's good, I guess, since he has a plead in store for him.

Round 8 - Callarai

The Callarai family is its smallest in a long time, with only three members still in the household.
Row 1: Otho Nixsana (slave, standing), Egnatius Zimeca (slave, standing)
Row 2: Fabricius Callarai (Head of the family, sitting), Saturnina Callarai (mother, sitting)
Row 3: Severus Callarai (second brother, standing)
Balbina moved out in between the rounds to get married.

Poor Otho lost his daughter two rounds ago and his wife last round. The wife was just resurrected by the good Empress Sabina, but maybe news didn't get around to Otho yet.
Saturnina gets her hands on a genie and wishes for a long life.
There's not much going on in the family anymore. Severus spends his days grinning at the mirror.
Or giving noogies to Egnatius... What else are slaves for?
It seems Fabricius has realized his sexual orientation by now. He still has to marry, though...
Saturnina maximized her physics skill.
They had a burglary. Of course, the fountain was the first to go into a tiny black bag, lol.
A trip to the Bathing House took their minds of the traumatizing experience. Saturnina made some new friends.
While Fabricius stuck to someone he already knew.

Round 7 - Callarai

Time for the family of old ladies and teenagers - the Callarai's.
Row 1: Otho Nixsana (slave, standing), Egnatius Zimeca (slave, standing)
Row 2: Fabricius Callarai (Head of the family, sitting), Severus Callarai (heir, sitting)
Row 3: Chinwe Callarai (grandmother, standing), Balbina Callarai (sister, sitting), Saturnina Callarai (mother, standing)
Since last round, Fabricius' twin brother Gordianus moved out for marriage, and the slave Horatia too. She was replaced by her little brother Egnatius.

I don't remember the record of breakdowns in this neighborhood, but I'm pretty sure Saturnina beat it by now.
Poor family sims... You'd think they'd be happy with the amount of kids everyone is having, but no. I'm sure Otho is mourning the death of his little girl Joce, who was murdered at the Colosseum.
Chinwe was born in Round 3 (16 rounds ago), which makes her the oldest sim in the neighborhood. Pretty impressive.
Saturnina's secondary aspiration is romance, which is showing more and more these years...
The bakery is still open, and this round they even recieved a best of the best award. Not that it's thanks to the family, Otho does all the work.
You can only be the oldest for so long...
Bye Chinwe, I had fun playing you.
I completely missed the rainbow lights and you'll have to settle for this amazing outfit pic instead.
Here's a better photo of Fabricius as an adult. He looks like a redheaded version of Emperor Varius.
Not much happened at the Baths, but Egnatius did find some other boys to play with.
The amount of noogies in this family is beyond control...
Egnatius had his birthday too.
Not surprisingly, he looks just like his two brothers. They're not clones, I just have bad luck. He's a popularity sim.

Round 6 - Callarai

The Callarai's recently had their Head executed for murder, and were pretty devastated last round. Have they managed to get back on their feet?
Row 1: Otho Nixsana (slave, standing), Horatia Zimeca (slave, standing)
Row 2: Saturnina Callarai (Head of the family, sitting), Fabricius Callarai (heir, sitting)
Row 3: Chinwe Callarai (mother-in-law, standing), Balbina Callarai (daughter, sitting), Severus Callarai (third son, sitting), Gordianus Callarai (second son, standing)

At Empress Sabina's birthday party, I noticed Fabricius seemed to be attracted to another boy, and a check now confirmed it. The heir Fabricius is gay! I set the odds for this very low, but with so many sims in the neighborhood, it was bound to happen sometime. We'll see if this leads to some juicy drama in the future.
This round is summer, and a great time of it was spent in the gardens, like summers should.
The bakery was open as usual. Otho doesn't have enough cooking skill to refill everything yet lol, but someday...
It's time for little brother Severus to become a teenager, just like his siblings.
Here he is, still not a handsome boy. He's a knowledge sim, and neat.
Saturnina invites over the slave boy who flirted with her at the Palace, and they have some fun in the garden...
The next day, it's time for Saturnina to become the very first generation 3 elder.
And here she is. Just like her mother-in-law Chinwe, she grows up already a widow.
Balbina finally meets her betrothed, but her personality doesn't make things go all that smooth...
At the Bathing House, Saturnina wants to tell her children a thing or two about cooking (which she's never done in her life).
Having five teenagers in the household means a lot of social interactions. Luckily, they all like each other, and the four Callarai teens all treat Horatia almost like she's one of them.

Round 5 - Callarai

How is the Callarai family doing after the execution of their Head Caecilius? Are they filled with secret rage for the Emperor and the Callandile family, or relieved to be rid of him?
Row 1: Otho Nixsana (slave, standing), Horatia Zimeca (slave, standing)
Row 2: Saturnina Callarai (Head of the family, sitting), Fabricius Callarai (heir, sitting)
Row 3: Chinwe Callarai (mother-in-law, standing); holding: Severus Callarai (third son), Gordianus Callarai (second son, sitting), Balbina Callarai (daughter, sitting)

We begin with the last goodbye of Caecilius. As you can see, his daughter is absolutely devastated.
She cries and cries over her father. Young as she is, she never got to see her father's bad sides and looked up to him a lot.
Otho has a, umm, tragic accident, hahaha. He's fine though.
The littlest boy, Severus, has his birthday not long after we start.
I know I said it would be difficult to like him, but how can I not when he smiles like that?!
Caecilius heir, Fabricius, takes a moment alone to show just how he feels about losing his father. I'm hoping he'll keep it inside, though. The family is damaged enough as it is...
The slave girl Horatia had her birthday too.
Here she is. I didn't expect her to look good so at least I'm not disappointed. Horatia is a fortune sim, like her twin brother Ovidius, and very neat.
I'm not sure what Severus was doing, standing there for hours, but it looked pretty creepy. I missed taking them to the Baths last round, so I'm taking them twice this time.
Saturnina found herself being seduced by the gladiator who executed her husband and she didn't resist him one bit... I don't even know...
For some reason, Horatia and Germanus don't like each other one bit. None of them had aspiration failure, so I guess they just don't work together...
With all the children older than toddlers, it was time for the family's bakery shop to open once more.
It's Balbina's birthday! Her brother's seem excited to have her join their age.
Still not pretty at all, but family status and money changes her attractiveness. Balbina is a pleasure sim, just like her betrothed Albanus Callani. She's also neat.
On the second visit to the Baths, Chinwe was reunited with her former slave and lover Tacitus.
