This is how the neighborhood looks now when the Roman Era begins. The Colosseum is pretty obvious. I didn't build it, by the way - I downloaded it from ekrubynaffit @ simfansuk. This is the only buildning I didn't make myself though.
The big building close to the Colosseum (not the one beside) is the Palace, where the Callani's live. The bigger houses in the bottom left corner are the Patrician's houses, homes to Callarai's and Callandile's. The small building above them is where the Plebeian family Jax is living, where they have a small farm. Next to the Colosseum is the Bathing House.
To make things realistic, I even built apartment buildnings for the poor people. So far we have two buildings with three apartments each for Slaves (these are the long, thin buildings). They may look decent on the outside, but there is nothing lovely about the insides. All the slave families (Zima, Zimayo, Nixeira and Nixsana) live here. The bigger (and more square) apartment building is for Plebeians, and although it's just one room just like the Slaves apartments, they have a somewhat higher standard, a shared kitchen and some entertainment. This is how the Seoli family lives.
I did mention all the families and their class above, but I'll make a list to make it easier anyway.
Emperors: Callani
Patricians: Callarai (descendants from Dakarai Callani) and Callandile (descendants from Andile Callani)
Plebeians: Jax and Seoli
Slaves: Zima, Zimayo (descendants from Adebayo Zima), Nixeira and Nixsana (descendants from Nkosana Nixeira).
I have started the first round and will hopefully be updating tonight. The new pictures are straining our internet to upload and I have to wait until I'm the only one using it so I won't make people angry, lol. You better enjoy them!
I really like what you did to change up the last names a bit.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot! I thought it would be nice to get some evolving and variety of the names :)
