Callandile is another new family, founded by the youngest brother of Emperor Zephania. This brother is Andile Callani (who's keeping his original last name to avoid having the funny name Andile Callandile...). He's a nice popularity sim.
Abeni Callandile is his wife, who's a lot older than him and as you can see, about to give birth to their first child. She has had five children with her last husband, who died, along with two of those children. The remaining three are slaves. She is also a popularity sim, but a neat one.
They have two slaves living with them in their house. One of them are Temitope Nixsana, who has left three fatherless sons behind.
The other one is Seneca Zima, a teenager. These two are not only responsible for the house, but also for the farm that the Callandile's own. (This picture is taken at the wrong location - please excuse that)
Our slaves get to work in the farm at once.
And so does Abeni, only a different kind of work. She immediately starts giving birth to the first baby born in the Roman Era.
She has a baby boy and heir, who they name Tarquinius. As you can see, he has brown hair and dark blue eyes.
Abeni soon becoms pregnant again. She only has time for one more pregnancy, and hopefully this one is a girl. There is a lack of girls in the top of society, and our heir to the Emperor's seat needs a cousin to marry.
Baby Tarquinius has his first birthday, with only his parents and Abeni's sisters as witness.
I don't think I even have to tell you that he looks just like his father.
The boy quickly learns to walk and talk during his first days as a toddler.
Meanwhile, Abeni's belly grows bigger and bigger.
And then it's time! Unfortunately, she gives birth in her pyjamas and seems to have lost the belly...
And it is a girl! Meet little Sabina Callandile, just born and already betrothed to the Emperor's heir Varius. Brown haired and dark blue-eyed just like her mother and brother.
Please excuse the (censored lol) nudity but, it's just funny how all the slaves has been complaining about being dirty, and yet Temitope is the first one to come up with doing this... She wasn't caught and will not be punished, but I don't think her masters would have like it if they found out.
The Callandile's visit the Bathing Houses too, as is tradition. The slaves wash themselves (at least Seneca does since Temitope is so sneaky) while Andile and Abeni try to enjoy the hot waters although their neighbor decided to bathe naked.
Little Tarquinius learns how to use the potty and sing a nursery rhyme just in time for his birthday.
Our poor slaves are working day and night and turning their thumbs green from the farm.
The parents throw a party for their little heir with the Emperor's family and the other Patricians as guests as the boy grow up into a child.
And here he is, still looking just like his father Andile in the face. Too bad, haha. I hope his sister Sabina looks more like Abeni.
