The Emperor's family is still nothing but three bachelors in a Palace, working and otherwise doing pretty much whatever they feel like doing. This is, however, the last round before Emperor Varius betrothed is old enough for marriage.
Row 1: Drusa Nixeira (slave, standing), Ovidius Zimeca (slave, standing), Germanus Nixeira (slave, standing)
Row 2: Varius Callani (Emperor, sitting), Januarius Callani (heir, sitting)
Row 3: Albanus Callani (brother, sitting)
Between the rounds, Drusa's brother Germanus moved in to fill the space after dead Marcius. Hopefully these three slaves will have better chemistry and no one is getting murdered.
You might remember that Drusa attempted suicide by attacking a gladiator, who defeated her. Consequently, Grimmie appeared at the Palace to get her as soon as this round began. However, Albanus had grown very attached to the young girl, and pleaded for her life.
Success! I get to keep my precious firstborn generation four at least a little longer.
Germanus has never seen anything like this place, and is very quick with discovering all the new things he can do here.
I love Drusa's shocked face in this picture. It seems we found the reason why Albanus so dearly wanted Drusa kept alive...
Yep... It happened. First the mother, now the daughter.
Ovidius had his birthday without murdering the new slave too!
He turned out to be a fortune sim, not the easiest aspiration for a slave. He has quite the personality, being very neat, active and grouchy.
All three men of the household are having great success with their career, and one of the days, all three managed to get promoted.
Time for yet another birthday!
I wouldn't say Germanus is especially pretty, but well. He's a neat knowledge sim.
Albanus got struck by lightning! This hasn't happened since the Stone Age...
Oh my, what a mess. I'm not going to act like I'm not super excited about this baby - Drusa is generation four, meaning that this baby will be generation five. And when the first generation five becomes an adult, it's time for the Dark Ages!
Speaking of mess... It's seems Albanus isn't the only one to have some fun with Fulvia (Drusa's mother). Varius has incredible three bolts for her! And yes, they did WooHoo.
Now I think you already figured out that Emperor Varius isn't what you'd call a nice guy, but this takes the price... Gossiping about the death of Fabiola Nixeira, who was murdered at the Colosseum for his own fun. I wonder how Drusa feels about hearing that regarding her dead aunt, that she never got to meet...
