Round 4 - Jax

The Jax family has become somewhat smaller since last round, because three of the five children reached the age of marriage.
Row 1: Aelianus Jax (standing, heir), Lekan Jax (Head of the family, sitting), Nthanda Jax (wife, sitting), Aurelia Jax (wife of heir, standing)
Row 2: Felix Jax (third son, sitting), Verginius Jax (fourth son, sitting)
Aurelia is new to the household, and will be Aelianus wife. Tiberius and Herminia has both left the home.

I guess these two must really like each other, since this is the first thing they do as Aurelia moves in... Even before the wedding, gasp!

The wedding ceremony followed, and afterwards, Aurelia Zima was Aurelia Jax. She leaves her status as a slave to become a plebeian, yay!

Here's the lucky girl after a makeover to fit her new status. In case anyone forgot, she's the girl Emperor Varius has fallen in love with.

Not much later, it's time for Aurelia to become an adult and Verginius a teenager.

And here's Verginius, the only one of the brothers to look like their father. He's a romance sim (aren't they all by now? Feels a little like it) and very outgoing. Reminds me a lot of his sister Herminia.

I have to say Felix is extremely brave taking a bath in this weather.

Someone brought Tarquinius Callandile home from school, and some of you might remember that he doesn't like the super nice Felix. Today, he attacks him. I feel like this is a lose-lose situation for Felix...

Felix successfully defends himself, but not without seriously injuring the Callandile heir.

Tarquinius fellow patrician Gordianus Callarai enters the house just in time to see the end of the fight, but isn't present at the start of it and when Felix says it was self-defence Tarquinius says the opposite and it's word against word as the patrician boys head home.

Aurelia's belly continue to grow in the middle of all this drama.

The next night, the second most powerful man in the neighborhood, Andile Callani, angrily steps into the Jax house. It turns out his only son Tarquinius has died from his injuries, and Gordianus Callarai claims he saw Felix hurting him. Andile has demanded the Jax boy be taken into justice by the Emperor, who decided Felix will recieve his punishment in the end of this season.

That night, Aurelia starts giving birth to hers and Aelianus first child.

It's a girl! Please excuse the strange picture. She's named Marina.

At the Baths, Felix does his best to relax before the trial he's facing. He's hoping the Emperor and the Patrician will see that with his full nice-meter, it's impossible that he started the fight and understand that he was only defending himself.

His parents find comfort in each other, as always.

And these two decide that the public baths are the perfect place to try for their second child.

Once back home, it's Marina's first birthday.

Another bad picture, I apologize. Here she is, however. Somehow I think she looks a lot like Drusa and her brother Germanus... Maybe this is the common face for fourth generation members?
