Round 4 - Callani

Our Emperor's family, which is rather small by now and won't be getting bigger until our little future Empress stops being a little kid.
Row 1: Drusa Nixeira (slave, standing), Marcius Zimayo (slave, standing), Ovidius Zimeca (slave, standing)
Row 2: Varius Callani (Emperor, sitting), Januarius Callani (heir, sitting)
Row 3: Albanus Callani (brother, sitting)
Since last round, the sister Marcellina moved out to marry Hortensius Callarai and both Marcius and Ovidius has moved in to replace the slaves Akinyi, who died, and Caelina, who's going to get married.

So it seems flowers are highly and dangerously flammable, after exactly this happened when Drusa burned some leaves.
Luckily, Januarius saves them all from the burning flowers.
As you might have seen, it's our little hero's birthday and of course, a party was thrown. I was happy too see these cuties, Manlius and Herminia, who are getting married this round, start flirting with each other this first time they meet.
Aging time!
Here's our heir as an adult. Of course, he's only the heir until his brother marries and has a son, but that still seems pretty distant since little Sabina is a child. The lack of girls in the upper class means that Januarius doesn't have a betrothed, although he's an adult. She simply hasn't been born yet.
Now, I don't know what's going on with Varius, but it does seem like Albanus has a little thing for their slave Drusa now that she's a teenager. We'll see where this heads...
What would a party with Caecilius as a guest be without some good old poking elder ladies in the chest? No clue why Andile just looks on with a big smile, it's his wife after all...
Look at this charmer! They don't seem brave enough to take it to another level than flirting, though.
This round is winter, and during one of the nights the snow settles on the ground of the Palace.
Drusa just got "promoted" to kitchen slave after her grandmother's death, but she's absolutely hopeless as a cook. Here's her first attempt at simple toast... Once again, Januarius saves the day, this time before heading to work without breakfast.
After all his success with his career, Albanus starts to struggle at work and gets demoted big time. Hopefully he'll work his way back quickly...
While working in the garden, the slave boys starts fighting. Since both of them are the only male with their last name, it made me very sad to see.
The fight was one of the longest I've ever seen in the game, but ultimately it lead to the victory of Ovidius, meaning that Marcius and the Zimayo lastname dies.
Drusa stares at Ovidius with an appropiately judging look. Honestly, I'd like the results to be the opposite since Marcius looked a lot better than Ovidius and I wanted to keep his genes. But I'm not the boss in this challenge, my sims are and they make bad decisions...
I'm sad to see him go, but still we have to say goodbye...
You discipline him Drusa! More, more noogies!
Not much happened at the Bathing House, just some traditional relaxing.
Varius look says "You really going to join us?" while Albanus looks a bit more inviting. Nothing more than flirting happened between them this round, but we'll see what the next one brings.
