Generation 4 Adults

With the oldest generation 4 twins, Drusa and Antonia Nixeira, all grown up into adults, it's time for another overview of the neighborhood. This is the size of Winter Valley as we've reached what I believe to be halfway through the Roman Era. It's grown quite a bit and how holds a total of 18 households.

Not only has our 4th generation started to become adults and marry, our 3rd has started to become elders as well, and generation 5 has already arrived in the neighborhood.
The little Patrician/Slave bastard cousins Elizabeta (right) and Greta (left) Nixeira are the same age and make the oldest children of their generation, just like their mothers before them.
You might have noticed that the names I'm giving the babies are changing in some families - these are names of the Dark Ages, instead of roman names. The names will vary depending on where the family will be living as the western half of the Empire falls. I'm not spoiling those details yet, but feel free to guess from the names of the babies, haha.

Let's take some time to check out the statistics of Winter Valley at this moment:

Population per age:
Babies: 9
Toddlers: 7
Children: 20
Teenagers: 19
Adults: 30
Elders: 6
Total living: 91
Dead: 49
Total all: 140
Conclusion: We're really close to a three-digit population. If the population boom that's been going on the last two rounds continues, we'll be there already by the end of Round 7/19. And around an extra half of our current population has already lived their lives in this neighborhood - every time I do this I get surprised at how high the numbers are.

Population per generation:
Generation 2: 4
Generation 3: 32
Generation 4: 51
Generation 5: 4
Conclusion: The 4th generation is dominating, which isn't surprising at all. The vast majority of the babies, toddlers, children and teens are of this generation, and they are many. We're starting to say goodbye to the 2nd generation, and welcome to the 5th.

Population per gender:
Male: 42
Female: 49
Conclusion: I really shouldn't complain, it's really even. More so than I thought. I know for sure that there's a bigger difference among the babies and toddlers right now - the girls win by far - but hey, it'll work out.

Households per class:
Patrician: 5
Plebeian: 4
Slave: 9
Conclusion: The Emperor's family is counted among the Patricians. I know, it's not perfect, but at least the number of slaves is the biggest. There's still two young Plebeian boys who hasn't married, so that'll increase really soon. Unfortunately, I believe the Patricians has three boys/men in the same situation... I'm going to let this be and try to make a more pyramid-like society when the Dark Ages arrive.

Males per family:
Callani: 13
Jax: 3
Seoli: 5
Zima: 11
Nixeira: 10
Conclusion: This doesn't mean that there'll be 13 branches of the Callani family soon - some of these males are heirs and won't be creating their own branch. As you can see, the Jax family is in a bit of trouble. They have 0 4th generation males. The Seoli's has 1. I'm praying hard for this to change, haha. If not, this god-hand is going to impregnate some girls to make some bastards. Desperate times call for desperate measures!

OBS!
Lastly, I have an announcement to make. I'll be visiting my family in another country for 6 weeks this summer. I leave in 7 days. Because I'm such a huge geek and can't possibly imagine being without The Sims for 6 weeks, I'm bringing my neighborhood and my CC on a USB-drive. However, I won't bring my computer (it's stationary so that would be nothing but crazy), and I can't guarantee I'll be able to play. It's very likely though, since I come from a family of geeks, lol. I hope you readers stay with me even though the tempo drops!

Okay, I'm happy with my rambling now - time for the story to continue!
