Here's the Patrician family Callandile, you might remember them as the ones with the big farm.
Row 1: Temitope Nixsana (slave, standing), Andile Callani (Head of the family, sitting), Abeni Callandile (wife, sitting), Antonia Nixeira (slave, standing)
Row 2: Tarquinius Callandile (heir, sitting), Sabina Callandile (daughter, sitting)
The only change from last round is Antonia, who's replacing Seneca after the disaster with his wife and kids.
As we begin, Sabina immediately has her birthday. As you can see from the guests of the party, the amount of boys greatly outnumber the girls in the upper class. (I know I mention it a lot, but here you see it proved!)
Neighborhood douchebag Caecilius makes enemies with Abeni. Saturnina seems to realize this is really bad news.
Here's my sweet Sabina, future Empress, as a teenager. I love this girl! She's turned out to be a romance sim, like her brother Tarquinius, but unlike him, her nice-meter is full. I'm not sure about that combination, but okay.
And it happened. The day I've expected and dreaded comes - Caecilius attacks Abeni. And he doesn't do it in a discrete place either, no, he does it in the middle of the party, and soon nearly everyone gathered around to look as he murdered his old aunt.
Apparently, a party with a murder is still "not bad". Hmm.
As you can see, Abeni will be greatly missed. Unlike Caecilius, she was very much liked by the rest of the neighborhood.
Andile finds it hard to go to bed without his wife. However, with the Emperor witnessing the act, justice is just around the corner. Emperor Varius decided that Caecilius will lose his position as Head of the Callarai family, and if he wants to keep his life, he has to fight for it in the Colosseum in the end of this round.
Bye Abeni! At least she lived a very eventful and long life, with a total of two Eras, two husbands, the birth of seven kids and the death of three of them.
This round, the farm gets covered by snow.
Working in the deep snow is difficult, but Antonia has badges to earn.
Sabina continues her quest to maximize her creativity and charisma before her marriage with the Emperor. Here, she just earned her last creativity point.
Well... That was quick. Andile moves on from one old lady to the next, as he lets his slave Temitope seduce him.
Sabina starts working on the charisma, by practising her romance in front of a mirror.
Meanwhile, her brother practises on a more living subject, by which I mean the slave Antonia.
He even kisses her at the Baths!
The teenagers doesn't even seem to care about hiding their love. Luckily, Andile's full nice-meter makes him very accepting, and he only seems happy for the two. Of course, he trusts they realize that they can't marry.
I wouldn't say he tries hard about being secretive, either.
As the round ends, Tarquinius and Antonia's feelings for each other reach another level. Hopefully it won't lead to any troubles.
Can't wait to see what happens to him.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting the slaves today, so in a few days it's time for the Colosseum!
