The fall began with little Dalitso growing up into a toddler. The day after, it started raining, very heavily.
For unknown reasons, Adisa decided to go out in the rain. Little did he know that the lot was flooded, and the strong currents took him, further and further, until he could no longer see his home.
Unfortunately, Ade was unable to help him, since this was the exact moment she started giving birth to not only one child, but two. She named the boy Adebayo and the girl Akinyi, and patiently waited for her husbands return. Surely he can find his way home again? Keeping herself busy while waiting proved to be an easy task with three small children to care for...
A common sight by now, especially in fall with all the rain. The Zima garden was completely flooded and destroyed.
By the time Dalitso became a child, it was clear that his father was never coming home again. Ade did not take on the role as a single mother with enthusiasm.
But at least she manages to keep everyone alive by herself long enough for the twins to grow into toddlers.
