Round 10 - Nixeira 2

The last family of the round is very similar to the previous one as we start. Nkosana and Temitope lives here with their toddler Rufinus. When I enter the lot, both of the adults are having a breakdown over the death of their son's cousin Sergius... Sigh.

I can tell Temitope is in a really sensitive place since she goes to have a second breakdown because of a little rain...

... And then a third one because lightning struck a tree that started burning. The rain killed the flames quickly, but that didn't help Temitope much.

But as the family sim she is, I know all I have to do to make her feel better is wait for the birth of their second child. When he arrives, she gets very happy. His name is Cassian and he has the grey eyes from her mother.

The bigger boy, Rufinus, becomes a child.

And the little Cassian becomes a toddler. Temitope does of course want lots of children, since she's a family sim, but just like her mother she seems to be having fertility issues. There is however lots of Nixeira boys (four, I believe) now so her husbands family name will survive anyway.

Round 10 - Callani 2

When we return to this little part of the Callani-family, it's not more than the young couple Dakarai and Chinwe, and their toddler son Caecilius. They get a fourth member pretty quickly, though. Welcome little Hortensius!

Chinwe is a fortune sim, but her secondary aspiration is family, and she wants a big one. So when she has a miscarriage not long after the birth of Hortensius, she is devastated.

Unfortunately, that's not the worst thing to happen this family. One night when Dakarai goes out to throw some trash, he is attacked from behind by an aggressive wolf. He doesn't survive his injuries.

When Chinwe goes out and finds her husband dead, she immediately has a breakdown. So much for a big family...

The days go on and Caecilius grows into a child. He looks a lot like the father he lost.

Little Hortensius grows up to a toddler. As you can see, Chinwe had some luck in all the misery. She discovered not long after Dakarai's death that she was carrying their third child and she's desperately hoping she won't have another miscarriage.

Luckily, she doesn't. She delivers a third son by the end of the season, who even has the grey eyes of Dakarai's father. She names him Manlius.

Round 10 - Zima 2

So last round was very chaotic for this family, with the birth of the second pair of twins and the death of Adebayo, leaving Abeni alone with four young kids and a pregnancy. And then, one of the older twins was killed by her cousin. After that one, I'm sure this one has to be nice in comparison... The twins growing up to children was definitely a plus. Here's the girl, Valeriana.

And here we have the boy, Vibianus. He's the only child who looks like their mother.

Little Fabricia became a toddler, too. Valeriana in the background, refusing to sleep next to any of their siblings... Just complaining until she passed out. Well, her choice.

Iuliana, who lost her twin sister last round, spends a lot of time with Fabricia.

She has her birthday too this round, becoming not the prettiest teenager. She's a popularity sim, active and grouchy (seems like all of them are this generation, lol)

Just a few hours before I end this super calm round, Abeni starts a relationship with Ameqran Nixeira, who I thought was happily married to the twin sister of Abeni's dead husband. Oh, well... We'll see what this leads to!

Round 10 - Callani

First thing to happened when I started the household was Monifa getting up, miscarrying, and having a breakdown. Seems like we're off to a good start...

Monifa's crisis really put a strain on hers and Zephania's marriage and things were not looking bright.

... But ACR fixed it again, lol.

Next up is lots of birthdays! First, their eldest Saturnina became a teenager. She's an active and grouchy family sim.

Then, the family's youngest, Albanus became a child. He looks a lot like his father when he was a child (and I'm happy one of them don't have that Nixeira-nose...)

And then the middle child Varius became a teenager too. I was right about him and Saturnina being clones, they have the same personality too. At least he's walking in his father's footsteps with the romance aspiration.

Monifa finally managed to complete a pregnancy, and gave birth to a third little son, Januarius.

They had an enormous storm that killed all of their plants and made poor Zephania get struck by lightning. At least none of them died.

Unfortunately, we have to end the round the same way it started, with Monifa having another miscarriage. I think this is the third or fourth one... But since she already has three sons, it's not the end of the world.

Round 10 - Jax

Round began with the little heir Sergius growing up into a child. He's still very cute! None of his parents look bad so hopefully the Jax's are going to be full of pretty children. There aren't too many in this neighborhood...

Soon, it was time for Nthanda to deliver another baby. It's a second boy, who they call Aelianus. I was veeery excited to see that he has red hair! First red-headed baby in the challenge, and this round the Nixeira's had the first blonde one too. Yay!

Unfortunately, the happiness didn't last very long. Like with all the families, this one had heavy rain and flood, too. Lekan and Nthanda thought their little Sergius was sleeping, but when they woke up in the morning they couldn't find him anywhere. Lekan is remembering his older sister who suffered the same fate and wonders if being the firstborn Jax is a curse or if it's just unlucky coincidence...

Lekan and Nthanda has heard miracle stories about children disappearing in the floods and showing up again later, tired and hungry but alive, but as time passes they have to accept that their boy isn't one of those children. Meanwhile, the new heir Aelianus becomes a toddler.

He doesn't have to be the only child for long. In the last night of the season, Nthanda gives birth to a third son, named Tiberius.

Round 10 - Seoli

It was finally time for the heir to the lot to move in and Masozi's lonely days were over. Since there was only one available girl for Chinedu, Tatenda Nixeira, she moved in too. They took a liking to each other at once.

But Masozi had plans to seduce the young man as well... The fact that he's her ex-husbands son doesn't seem to bother her.

Masozi was very clear with her intentions and one day she took him to bed (although I did my best to stop it...)

Unfortunately, they had visitors. One of them was Zephania Callani, who Masozi were having a relationship with, too. Even though he's a romance sim, he didn't take it lightly.

He even poked Chinedu, who didn't do more than cry about it.

Masozi was out tending the garden one night when the flood came. At her age it was nearly impossible to get to safety, and the next day she was nowhere to be found.

She didn't return and Chinedu and Tatenda could only assume that she had drowned. Meanwhile, Tatenda's pregnancy was starting to show and the teenagers had to marry a little earlier than they expected. Tatenda Nixeira became Tatenda Seoli.

On the last day of the round, Chinedu became an adult, and here we have him.

Round 10 - Nixeira

What a round... Prepare for lots of pictures! We begin softly with the second eldest child, Claudia's, birthday. She turned out cuter than I expected. She even has her grandma Ade's green eyes and hairstyle!

Tamrat's time in this life was up and Grimmie came to get him while he was surrounded by his family.

His ever-faithful romantic wife Pilirani had a breakdown by his grave. Sweetie.

The family's youngest, Nona, became a toddler looking a lot like her mother. Here in the arms of her uncle Themba, who can't find a wife and move out because, well, there are no wifes out there.

She didn't stay the youngest for very long, as her mother Akinyi delivered a second son, named Tacitus. Claudia is trying to keep calm in the background.

Unfortunately everyone (including me) was to preoccupied to notice that Pilirani also was leaving this life. Claudia was even sleeping next to the whole scene...

To make up for it, I took a picture of her ghost as she says goodbye. Go hug your husband and little daughter Rudo now! She's been waiting a long time, poor girl.

But that night, something very unexpected happened. For some reason, the whole family was outside in the rain, when the flood came. Neither Themba or Claudia managed to get to safety, and both drowned.

Themba actually grew into an adult, but I forgot to take a picture of it. Instead, you get another ghost-pic. He doesn't look too sad...

On his way back to the huts, Ameqran got struck by lightning. Luckily, he survived.

The next day, Nona became a child. I wish I could see her and Claudia playing together, but no... In the background we have big brother Quintus and Seneca Zima, by the way.

Quintus is so much older that not long after, he grew up into a teenager. He's a neat and nice popularity sim.

The same day his little brother Tacitus became a toddler too.

Let's end the household with some great news, shall we? Akinyi, who is a twin herself, had twins! Her twin-brother had two sets of twins before he died, so I'm not surprised at all. What does surprise me is that one of them are blonde! Their names are Caelina (left, the blonde one) and Prisca (right). She's the first one in this challenge to be born with a recessive hair color. Both of them had green eyes, too.
