Round 8 - Calbanus

The first new household of this round is coming straight out of the Palace. Balbina is finally old enough for marriage, and she and Albanus are moving into the empty Callandile farm after everyone of that family died (except for the Empress, but she's busy elsewhere).
Row 1: Fulvia Nixeira (slave, standing), Albanus Callani (Head of the family, sitting), Balbina Calbanus (wife, sitting), Mathis Nixianus (slave, standing)
Little Mathis replaces Vibiana, who's not only getting married, she's pregnant with the former owner of the house too.

The parties of the patricians are getting more and more intense. Marcellina discovered that her husband Hortensius is having an affair with Herminia and a slapfest erupted.
Manlius and Severus are enemies, so of course they're slapping each other just because.
And for some reason, Herminia and Januarius were slapping each other too. Sigh...
Let's just go back to the bride and groom. Balbina Callarai becomes Balbina Calbanus.
They seem happy, although they have the biggest age difference in the game.
Fulvia and Januarius started a love story too. It's better than slaps, I guess.
The next day, the newlyweds fall in love.
Winter has come and Fulvia is struggling with her precious plants.
Believe it or not, it's time for Albanus to become an elder while his wife is still a teen.
This is the old man now. Still not a father, I almost said, then I remembered he has three bastard daughters.
And a trueborn on the way!
Fulvia and Quintus love is old but lasting, even though they've been separated for a long time now.

Bigger belly for young Balbina.
But before the baby arrives, she has to grow up into an adult.
Here she is!
Little Mathis is in safe hands with his fellow slave Fulvia.
Now it's time!
Balbina delivers a little red haired boy, named Hugues. Good idea to start with the son and heir when Albanus is so old.
Apparently (I don't even know why, everyone else does), he doesn't like Fulvia.
And that was it from that "old, lasting love". Quintus catches his wife with Januarius, which isn't popular. Never mind that he's WooHoo'd his master's teenage daughter earlier...

Round 8 - Callianus

The Callianus family is still a young one, this only being their second round.
Row 1: Lucretia Callianus (wife, standing); holding: Jeffrey Callianus (heir), Gordianus Callarai (Head of the family, sitting), Job Nixotho (slave, standing)

And just like that, all of a sudden Jeffrey is a toddler. Haha. He looks a lot like his father.
Lucretia's belly is a big one.
He doesn't want to talk yet, cutie.
Job has his birthday too, and this time you get to see the rainbow lights.
Here he is! Lucretia's slave nephew... He's a fortune sim, which usually doesn't work out too well for slaves.
It's time for the second baby.
And it's a boy! Finally. They name him Jerrard.
Lucretia is a caring mother, and she quickly discovers she's pregnant again.
Both Jeffrey and Jerrard have their birthday.
This is Jeffrey. I bet he's going to become very handsome as a teenager.
And here's little brother Jerrard.
The guests of the party were very busy with a game of kick-ball in the kitchen...
Little boy practising walking.
Jeffrey is an active and playful boy, with a simple word: he's wild. He runs everywhere and jumps or plays all the time.
Big winter belly.
Jeffrey made a playmate in my sweet, special Elizabeta (no favouritism at all going on here) at the Baths.
And Job witnessed that Maximianus and Paula doesn't like each other. Does any of my sims? Sometimes I don't think so, haha...
Jerrard looks more like Lucretia than his brother does. He'll become a big brother too, in the next round.

Round 8 - Callius

In the Callius family, the romance sims Manlius and Herminia try their hardest (not very hard) to raise their five children.
Row 1: Manlius Callarai (Head of the family, sitting), Herminia Callius (wife, sitting), Valens Zimeca (slave, standing); holding: Porcia Callius (third daughter)
Row 2: Martialis Callius (heir, standing), Titiana Callius (daughter, sitting), Aetius Callius (second son, sitting), Aelia Callius (second daughter, sitting)

We go straight for Porcia's birthday.
Here she is, the first one to look like their mother, not father.
She's truly adorable!
There are lots of noogies going on in this household. All the children are very shy, but not very nice.
I love watching this little one.
Aelia has her birthday too.
Here she is, happy as always. She's a popularity sim.
Herminia thought it was a good idea to get serious with their slave...
Little Porcia has another birthday.
Here she is, still lovely.
Here we go again... Herminia decides to WooHoo Gordianus Callarai this time.
However, Valens catches them, and slaps Herminia.
And then he slaps Gordianus too. I've heard this is a great way to get fired...
Porcia is sloppy and playful, and therefore the first sim to make a mess in the shower room at the Bathing House and then play in it... Our future Empress, everyone!
They're both cheating on each other (Herminia more than Manlius), but they never caught one another at it and still love each other a lot.
Porcia brought her betrothed, the Emperor's heir Agapetus home. Can you believe they'll marry one day? (Let's hope I didn't jinx it now)
